Senior: Layni.
Layni's photo session was so much fun! We explored new places and she was so willing to try new things! I also loved hearing her perspective and her wants. When clients are open it is easier for me to capture their personality! Loved this shoot!

Senior: Shaylie
Shaylie has gotten lots of practice, being the sister of a photographer and everything. . . but besides that it is really easy for someone to look good if she is beautiful!! My sister is absolutely gorgeous, I am not biased either, I mean look at her! I love her!
Cheers!

Lady Nan.
The lovely Lady Nan and I went out to start her Senior Picture portfolio this afternoon. I say "start" because by the way things are looking it is going to be a process that takes all summer. I am very much okay with that though. Lady Nan is my sister, best friend and I also refer to her as my "Spot-finder". Here is a preview of what we did in the short time we had before the sun went down.
We got eaten alive by misquotes, I have been itching all night.
Cheers!

Elder D. Hales- (soon to be)
I basically feel pretty legit right now, the whole fact that people actually like my work still baffles me to the point where I have to double check and make sure that I am not dreaming. My photography is improving all the time and I love it! I have never taken a class and so everything I do is just from teaching myself- my processes of "guess and check".
Today I had another missionary session. Can I just say that indoor sessions are really easy- maybe a little too easy at times, but I love love loved how my new little studio has worked out! Daniel came over this evening for his mission shoot and I swear that kid was in and out of here in less than a half hour! (high five for working fast!) I have done a marathon editing session, because Daniel needs his pictures and I am going to Powell tomorrow! VACATION! (it's okay to be jealous- I would be jealous of me too!)
Thanks Daniel I really hope you like them! I think they turned out great!
Cheers!

Missionaries!
Today was an adventure.
My mom and I threw together a backdrop in an hour and I must say I was rather impressed with our skill! Cheers, to my first studio-ish type session! It rocked!
Amy and Matt will both be leaving on their missions the beginning of June. I am so excited for them! Matt and I met during a leadership conference our junior year in high school and Amy is his older sister. We worked fast this afternoon and I was really pleased with the shots that we got! I would say my first portrait style/studio shoot was a success!
Thanks Amy and Matt!
Cheers,
Kels
